I think you have a fetish. You are going in the right direction. You have completed the first step, which is admitting you have a problem. As for a solution. Um, switch soap.

This sounds like an excessive habit for cleanliness. What is driving you to want to be so excessively clean? Perhaps, an exploration of your feelings with a counselor is in order, because it sounds like you are having problems trying to stop it on your own. Is your need for cleanliness a substitute for something else?
Your husband is probably upset, because you are making the water bill much too high. In all likelyhood, he is probably beginning to not like the smell of your dove soap. Ask him why he is so irritated with your constant washing.

Are you doing a Dove commercial here? If not, then you have a Dove obsession, I meant the chemical, not the cute little bird.
May be you're obsessive compulsive. You either need to see a shrink or make firm decision to stop that impulse.

You don't even need to shower every day medically speaking. Your body does a fine job at getting rid of it's dead skin cells. You are going to make your skin look old and wrinkly before your time. Give up the dove, it has nasty chemicals in it that are not good for you any way. I don't think it is the soap either, I think you have OCD, which is common.

I love Dove soap too, but not as much as you. There is no harm in loving dove soap but maybe you have a touch of OCD.

maybe this will discourage you. Dove products contain mercury, a poison that is connected with autism. You might not want this around you or your family considering it's not as pure as you thought. Hope this helps
