I don't think it matters. It is human nature to be curious. I watched it and showed it to my grandparents. They were just as curious as I was but the video ended with all three of us wondering if this was a hoax or if the "real" Saddam actually hanged for the heinous crimes. I find it interesting that Saddam's trial was wrapped up and he was hung just a week before the Democrats were set to take power starting with Nancy Pelosi. Of course, that's just my observation.

"O" sure! Saddam caused the United States to supply Iraq with the chemical weapons that killed thousands of people. So Saddam is the evil one, we just supplied him with the means. Are hands are clean, and we Americans are all good little innocent children.

Yes, so that the people around the world (who care) would see that he's dead. Although after several hours, there's a speculation that the dead Saddam is a fake one and the real Saddam is still alive.

Well hind sight is a lot better than foresight and it is easy to play arm chair quarterback but my guess after all has been said and done is that it was probably handled about as well as if could be handled. I don't think the cell phone recording was a random chance act. I think it was done for a purpose and that purpose has been served. The officials could have easily banned cell phones but they did not do so probably because they wanted the tape to get out.

I would gain nothing from seeing him dead so I don't really care. And showing like shows a lack of humanity from the one who filmed it. And by the way the Iraki government is searching to find who it was.
I won't watch it just as a mark of respect for Saddam even if he was a dictator and had lots of people killed.
And would you like your death to be seen by millions of people? I don't think so.

this should not been shown at all, very disgrace.....very in humane and insulting ...,,,, he was 69 years old man, he could have been imprisoned for life time...since he was POW.
the Day they choose for his execution was wrong.......and that was so sudden and shocking it self... according to Iraqi law no execution is allowed in Religious holidays or any other official Holiday... No body like to watch any other person die.even if he was beast in his life.......and specially at home where children and heart patients are around.
Secondly, how Sadam was treated at his last moment at the gallows, that was in humane, it will create more problem in Iraq, it will be like adding fuel to fire........ that was so depressing.......
No difference left between Dictator SADAM and the other...

Well it hit the internet and showed what jerksthe Iraqis are. The Shi'ite guards hollering at Saddam, screaming insults. Good job, boys. That'll really help bring Iraqis together.
Jeez, what a damn mess this war is. Did Bush think at all before he invaded. Does he think at all?

No, there would be nothing gained by seeing someone hanged. Children see enough violence in news reports now I think it would be devastating to a young child to see a hanging.

Personally, I do not wish to watch someone die like that, although he does deserve too for his nasty crimes. I do not want my children to see this, and if it is so important for the great USA to see that this #$&&@$) is dead, then show his dead body, not the act !!! The man disrespected many people in his country and ours, although it did not make the people who hung him with thier snod remarks make them any better people for doing so, it kinda feels like they lowered thier standards to the way sadam was!! Just my opinion.

No it was an unethical thing for them to do. But it also showed some people who didn't believe that he really died like my mother that he is officially dead. Now do I think it was something that people want to see. No. i don't want to see that man hang it is nasty to think about it.
