My hair is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO curly and I like straightening it alot, but the ends have gotten so split and dried out that they look horrible. The heat "protector" that I have now a.) makes my hair super greasy and stiff, and b.) hasn't worked on heat protecting. Also, how hot in degrees, does the Remington Wet2Style Straightener get when set on 30. By the way the heat "protector" I have now is called "Straighten Out".

I have a solia flat iron & I use vo5 miracle mist, its in a red bottle at walmart, but I'm not sure yet if it works well as a heat protecter. I will probably try the l'oreal hot straight cream next.

I had the same problem until I used the VO5 Straighting gel. I have found that it works great. Also the straightening iron I would get if I were you would be the Andis multi heat ceramic. You can get it at Walgreen's for around 15 dollars. It is the only one that I've found that will work on my naturally curly hair. Good luck

I have two products I am comparing on my hair at the moment. I like them so far. They seem to help and to protect and to increase the shine of my hair. As long as I keep it away from my roots it dries fine. The two products are straightening cream by Alberto (blue and white bottle) and Loreal Paris Studio cream. I use them when my hair is wet and then blow dry it. You can also use it to help reduce frizz on dry hair (used in moderation). I cannot decide which one I like better- they are both similar prices and seem to have the same affect. Good luck.
