For example, if i run really hard or i dance really hard, i throw up. I feel really embarrassed and bad about myself. Am i alone at this? By the way, it has nothing to do with being in shape, i'm always been a vomiter.

I do too!!! I also will puke if I cry to hard or am really upset about something. I'm not sure why exactly.... but i do know other girls like this so I don't worry about it too much. My mom used to take me to the doctor when I was little trying to find out if I have stomache problems, but I don't. There is nothing physically wrong. I think I'm just a very sensitive person.

Nope, you're not alone. Many people do this. Watch a day of basic training at a military boot camp. You'll see all kinds of people doing it. I'm not sure why...but hey, we've all done it sometime, at least those of us that have pushed ourselves far enough. Those that haven't, well they just haven't tried hard enough. Workout for a day with Sgt. Caputo

Quite simply, you are working out too hard. Your body is producing lactic acid (a by product of anareobic respiration) faster than it can get rid of it. The build up of lactic acid is what makes you feel sick and throw up. Try working out slightly less strenuously and youll be right!

You are going to cause serious damage to your esophagus and you do need to see a doctor about this ASAP, it could be the flap that is supposed to close on your stomach isn't working properly, it isn't "embarrassing" it is life threatening without treatment.
