Hey there,

Where did you delete them? Where were they stored? If they were on you PC, did they go into the recycle bin?

First, don't do anything on that PC. They really are still there. They just have their first bit removed, until you write over them. Once you do that, and you will not know it, they are pretty much gone.

I know you are going to get this from a bunch of people, but you really must back-up in case of these emergencies.

Now, for your immediate problem. You need to do a search for data recovery programs for deleted items. There are a bunch out there. For the most part, I do not use them. I have used data recovery services, however, they can be expensive. I had a customer spend $10K for their data recovery.

Once you get it off, do yourself a favor and purchase an external hard drive to back-up everything on.

Sorry dude.

Tom

If you've emptied your trash, you can try this program:

http://www.snapfiles.com/get/restoration.html

It's free and very reliable. What it does is search your hard drive for any files that have been emptied from the Recycle bin.
When you empty your Recycle bin, the files are actually dumped back on to the disk, where they are overwritten by new data. Keep in mind, that if you've been using your computer at all since emptying your Recycle bin, the video files have most likely been overwritten and can't be recovered.

Good Luck

Check your recycle bin. Open it up from your desktop and it will let you view which files have been deleted. Then you can restore them from there. I think you just right click on the file and choose "restore" on the drop down menu. Hope this helps. =)

Do a system restore, set the restore date to when you knew you had the files, that's the easiest way.

Did you empty your trash afterwards? If not they will still be there. Do you have the disc or whatever you recorded it on? If not There isn't anything you can do. Sorry
