Okay, first of all, you should get to know him first to know whether or not you really actually like him. I gather if you are afraid to talk to him and don't know how to go about it that you probably haven't done it before. Talk to him and get to know him so that you know for sure if he is your type. Come on now, girl... Use some sense. What would you do if you asked him out and he said "yes" and he irritated the crap out of you after an hour. That would stink huh? Once you get to know him or maybe even become friends you won't be so scared to talk to him or ask him out anymore. Have fun!

If you've known him for that long then it shouldn't be hard for you to ask him out. Just ask him out already. You have to be bold and ask him. Say something like "I was wondering if we could catch a movie and dinner sometime together." Or something like that. If you don't ask him then you'll never know if you and him could have something special there and be more then friends. You could wind up loseing the best chance of your lifetime. He could be your soulmate so don't be afraid just ask him.

You should ask him out without being nervous and without being scared. Don't worry when the time comes you will probably no what to say it will just come right out. That is so cool that your at least making an effort to go after what you want.

Maybe don't worry about what to say. If you find the right moment, then go ahead. But until then, be happy where you are. The best relationship is the one you fall into, and wonder how you ever would have been happy without that person.

You're "supposed" to ask him out? jk
anyways I think you shouldn't ask him out yet. Find out first if he likes you back. Since you guys have been friends since 1st grade, you don't want to ruin your relationship. It could be possible to become uncomfortable when you guys meet. THINK AGAIN and get some backround info.

Maybe you can just relax. Imagine a conversation to bring up and then after awhile then just bring the question. But dont say "Wanna be my boyfriend?" Start with if they want to hang out in [insert date here]

if you get the conversation into a confortable flow, then try to get the convo into the direction of dating or something that can be made into a suggestion that you two should go out, then things will probobly go silent for a small while, but just let him think and let him decide his answer.

Just do it the worst he can say is no. The best of luck to you. Rejection is scary, but at least you tried. I have been rejected before but I know I tried and do not regret trying.
