Collies - either Rough or Border. love them!
And definitely big dogs are the best!

I've always wanted a Great Pyranese. I've read that they are fiercely protective of what they consider their people and their property. I grew up with German Shepherds, which are much the same way. But, I guess you tend to want what you don't have. Shepherd or Pyranese ... either one. But I have a very small yard now, so have small dogs. Pomeranians. Thats ok though. If a Pom was as big as their hearts, they'd be the size of a house. And nothing gets by them. They may not be much for protection, but as a alarm system, you can't beat a Pom.

Either a Bull Terrier, Lab or Rhodesian Ridge Back. I have 2 dogs now, one is a Lab Ridgeback mix and the other a Lab Bull Terrier mix. Maybe one day, 20 or 30 years from now when these two "cross the bridge" (I know, I am in denial) I will get a couple of pure bred dogs.

I would currently like a Black Russian Terrier. I fell in love with the breed, but the breeder I was originally going to get a puppy from made a decision that i did not find ethical.
I'd also like a great dane but am not sure i can deal with them for the first 3 years of their lives

Because small dogs tend to live longer, and mutts tend to have fewer health problems, I like to adopt mixed breed dog under 20 pounds, preferably ones that need a home because someone has abandoned them. I've never been disappointed. My mostly terrier mixes have been loyal friends, courageous watchdogs, and loving companions. That's the kind I've always wanted, and the kind I've always adopted.

I've always like medium sized dog to big dogs of any breed or mixes, however now that I have an American Staffoshire Terrier, I'm kind partial to them. They are largely misundertsood breed, and he blows my mind daily on the wonderful things that he does...just yesterday he was catching soap bubbles for fun!!!

I always wanted a Border Collie but ended up with a Bloodhound, Black and Tan Coonhound and Lab/Golden. Don't ask me how that happened, but all 3 are/were the dog I always wanted, I just didn't know it beforehand!

Always wanted a Newfoundland. But then my lifestyle changed a bit, and Akitas are perfect for me! I love the big dogs too.

I like Saint Bernards, but they a a little bit too big for me. I like Collies, Great Pyrenees and Samoyed best!!!

Groenendale Belgian shepherd sheep dogs that eat cats and small kids that wander into the yard (Someone has to resolve the world overpopulation issue).
