130 , and i can prety much use his help at my work place i was just wondering howlong would it take or should i try to get him a work visa since his a technician?

I don't know very much about this since I became a U.S. resident through a fiance visa but I would say that if you're trying to sponsor your brother to come to the U.S. then I would use a family visa rather then a work visa.

Wouldn't your work place have to prove to the U.S. government that the job can't be filled by an able-bodied American before they could consider your brother for the job? Is your brother highly skilled in this job area? I'd say getting a work visa for him in this situation is a long shot, but of course I could be wrong.

I understand that you are a US citizen who petitioned for your brother about six years ago. Depending on what country you are from, the backlog is 10-22 years. you need to keep an eye on the monthly visa bulletin, which tells what priority dates are becoming current. Here it is:
