Yes, and sad that many people do not worship and honor His son Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

No. In fact, I think the Christian religion gets MORE respect than it deserves. Why should the Christian religion get elevated over Judaism, Hinduism, or any other religious belief? Faith = faith = faith, as far the equal sign will go, and should get the same amount of respect, regardless of the gods or deities involved.

I think faith, in general, should be questioned more openly and more often. If that's "disrespect", then perhaps one should question what you're actually respecting. Any legitimate search for truth will WELCOME questions instead of considering them "lack of respct" and becoming "disgusted" when their opinion isn't taken at face value.

Not really.......im not disgusted with it...it is to be expected.....and you know why...its because of people like George Bush tryin to impose his bullshit right wing christianity on the rest of the world that gives christianity a bad name......so im not surprised at the lack of respect towards it...cause the majority of americas christian population hasnt showed the rest of the world much respect by electing an imbocile like george bush to take charge of the worlds only remaining superpower....i dont believe in god simply because its complete nonsense...heaven and hell..ya right!there is no proof!!!!!!here is a quote all religous people should take on board....it sums up my thinking exactly....."Religion is based, I think, primarily and mainly upon fear. It is partly the terror of the unknown and partly, as I have said, the wish to feel that you have a kind of elder brother who will stand by you in all your troubles and disputes....A good world needs knowledge, kindliness, and courage; it does not need a regretful hankering after the past or a fettering of the free intelligence by the words uttered long ago by ignorant men"......

Please remember nearly all Atheist's come from Christian religions, with that said I think they might have a reason for showing no respect. I for one show my aunt no respect because she keeps her children hidden from the outside world they can not even go to the movies!?!? I mean come on thats just not healthy for any kid to keep them locked up like that. And its all because she is a radical Christian. I have other stories I can tell as I'm sure 99% of the Atheist out there have too. Not to mention I can show no person respect that looks down on me for the way I think.

I'm actually more disgusted by these yes/no or "can I get an amen" sort of question. There really isn't going to be a best answer and it won't (in this case) come from an Atheist or Pagan or Muslim. You don't play well with others.

I'm actually appalled by the amount of "non-believer" hating people on Yahoo Answers. They keep talking about how the world would be better if atheists dropped off the earth, and all this crap. And I personally don't think its very disrespectful for you to come knocking at my door at 5 in the morning trying to push your religion onto me.
You christians need to get a life and quit trying to "save" us.

I am. I'm a christian myself. And trust me, the persecution will get worse, as time goes on. People call me all sorts of names, and it helps just to ignore them, we know that god is real and that he will come to get us someday. Although, the word christian is used so usely these times. Sometimes people think their christians just because they go to church. Well, there not. You have to be born again, and have jesus in your heart. Standing in a garage doesn't make you a car, anymore than going to church makes you a christian.

I think it has been the reverse in my workplace. Christians disrespecting others in hiring practices. But I have a job in a place I am not originally from and the social structure of the creed organizations is quite stealthily in place here. But I think Christians who think Jesus was it without being able to describe more than that or just saying that he died on a cross for us, are too shallow to have respect for. I respect a discerning Christian, one who seeks out Jesus's graver sins as well as sees how Jesus was heavenly on earth at times.

No. What disgusts me is the way Christians are attempting to portray themselves as being persecuted and discriminated against, when nothing could be further from the truth. Example: the "War on Christmas."

If Christians and Christianity are being mistreated, it is because for hundreds of years Christians and Christianity have mistreated the people and Gods of other faiths. Frankly, we're sick of it. What goes around comes around.

Jesus told his followers that we will expect persecution from non believers, but yes I feel disappointed sometimes that some people don't share our views about the Bible. Have a good night.

I am not surprise. Remember Jesus said that the people from this world will hate us, because we do not belong to the people of this world, and when ever people hate you from this world just remember they hated Jesus first.

So I feel bad for those that do not understand, and hate us because those are the type of people we should give our hearts out to, and pray for, because they will never know Jesus's love for them.
