My boyfriend of about six months told me "I need you, I want to be with you" last night on the phone and said he needed to see me soon and he will pay for my flight.

The thing is, we are in a distance relationship and he didn't call me for a month (shortly following me telling him I loved him for the first time, although he has said it to me already). Then he just popped back on Christmas and then again on New Years (in fact, I told him I didn't even think that we were dating anymore since he disappeared).

What is he trying to tell me with his signals here?

I'd be careful. When people "disappear" in long distance relationships, it's usually because there is somebody else. I'd make him "pay his dues" for awhile and get back into your good graces. If you just go out there and sleep with him after he's blown you off for a month, you may be sorry. Make sure he's serious about a relationship with you - and not just sex.

Maybe he is making up for what a jerk he has been for hurting you if you were hurt. And since you told him that you didn't even think that you guys were a couple anymore, he just wants to let you no that you still are. He might of just been busy or thought that you were buys. If i were you i would go see what the relationship still has for you guys I hope that this helps!!! Good luck!

He thought he had found something better, it didn't go as planned, so he went back to his woman that is on the backburner. He's using you. Sure, he might pay a flight and a hotel room, but as soon as you are gone and going to be gone for awhile, he wanders where his member takes him. Long distance relationships rarely work.

The same thing happend to me, except i was in your boyfriends position. I really really loved this girl, but i got scared when she told me she loved me. she kept calling and i kept dodging her calls. Then when i finally "popped back in" she eventually broke my heart and i felt like the biggest Jerk in the world. I felt so horrible and to this day, i know it was the biggest mistake of my life. Im not sure what to tell YOU but i cant tell your boyfriend not to be like me. if he lets you get away, who knows what will happen to him. No doubt he will gain depression, which could lead to worse. So with this touchy subject, all i can say to you is BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!! Good luck, and im praying for your boyfriend because i wouldnt WISH the pain i feel on even my worst enemy. Good luck , Justin

Well I would go and see what he has to say. Long distance relationships rarely work out in the end. However I would go and talk to him and see where your future is heading with him. Best of luck

He probably has a completely seperate life when you are not there. He does not seem to be committed to your relationship, explain to him that unless he is ready to be serious and dedicated to you only, you dont want to keep seeing him. Explain that you feel unsure of where you are at with him and its hard for you. Do the right thing by yourself.

The truth. during the holidays he was lonely so looked you up again. he may or may not have been seeing someone else during your period of silence.
he wants you to either go live with him because he cant handle the long distance part anymore. or he just wants sex

ATTENTION:

There are 6 billion people on earth. Move on. This is a complete and utter waste of time. The guy is a tool obviously.
