I use mousse cause it works best but it can be really drying. spray gel works pretty well, too. you should put the product on hair that is not dripping wet but still pretty damp. place product in evenly and you can either finger scrunch while air-drying or scrunch while using a blow dryer with a diffuser set to cool or low heat temp (just depends on the thickness of hair; and if your hair is really thick, you might want to scrunch in layers).

When you get out of the shower you take your towel and get all of the excess water out of your hair. Lightly towel dry it. Flip your head over then take mousse and spread it all over in your hair and make sure to get the roots as well. Then flip your head back over and take your hands and scrunch your hair towards your scalp. If the back of your hair does not scrunch that well like mine does use some gel to help it, but not too much or else you will get clumps. Then spray your hair with a medium style hairspray and you should be good to go. You can also dry your hair faster by after spraying your hair with hairspray go over it lightly with a blowdryer. I love this look! I hope it works!

when ur hair is still wet, use a good gel and scrunch it in with your hands.
first, dump your hair over your head and scrunch some, then flip back and do each side with some more gel.
try LA LOOKS - VOLUME 10.

I always flip my hair upside down and take some mousse and scrunch my fingers through my hair. Then I flip back up but don't brush it out. Some people use a diffuser to use while scrunching their hair too.

Use hair spray with hold. I used to scrunch my hair and had a permanent. My hairdresser used Paul Mitchell hairsprays. With damp hair begin to scrunch up your hair. You can bend over and let your hair fall down and begin to scrunch. Then turn upright and scrunch and spray. Then you can use a finishing hairspray.

When your hair is wet run gel or mousse through it and shake your hair upside down. Then when you're upright again grab and squeeze pieces of your hair. You can use a towel for this. When your hair looks good, you spray it with a light hold hairspray.

What I do is when my hair is wet I make two messy buns behind my ears (like pigtails) and just let my hair dry..and then it comes out all wavy and "scrunched" looking.
