Cheerios are a staple in my house. My little guy also eats soft veggies about the size of a large pea (carrots, potatoes, yams etc), bread crusts, banana. Rice cakes are also good, they just melt in the mouth.

If he can %. up puffs, he can %. up pasta and greens and rice and different meals. teeth don't count number -- he chews together with his gums. i could prepare food for the kin, cut back some up, and put in front of your son at nicely-known meal situations. it may take him a litle time to get the dangle of self-feeding if he hasn't lots prepare, yet he gets there. And interior the intervening time, his formula nonetheless promises each and all of the energy and food he desires. Anything you eat, they can eat as long as it is cut into small pieces. That way, you start to eat better and they get used to a variety of foods. Whenever we go to this one particular restuarant and I ask my five year old what she wants for dinner. Chicken Nuggets? No. Mac & Cheese? No. She wants the steamed mussles! She shared some with my Mom once, and she loves them. She loves salad and veggies. I never buy her food off the kids menu I always share my food with her.

My daughter loved rasins at that age and cheerios. No mess, and they are easy to pick up and chew. Also gerber makes these "puff" stars in different flavors, they dissolve easily and again are not messy.
