I understand it has to do with the kidneys. But I dont understand what the difference is in the two of them..I have done a search but havent found what I'm looking for.

GFR is glomerur filtration rate. The glomerulai are the tiny filters in the kidneys. ( I have lupus kidney disease that affects the glomerulai.) Here is a link that explains GFR.
