I'm getting my braces off on Thursday, so i probably could help, i have been through it all, lol you might have 2 appointments before you get your braces on, the first one which is the consultation, where they won't do anything except look at your teeth and and talk to you and your parent about what to expect and how long you will need to have braces. the second appointment will be impressions, which is gooey stuff they stick on the top teeth, then again on the lower teeth. this part is not fun because some people gag, but it is only in your mouth for like 25 seconds. Then you will probably come back within to weeks of your impressions and that will probably be when your braces are put on.

Consultation- Around 45 Minutes
Impressions-35-40 Minutes( so they can harden )
Actual Braces-45-1 Hour

I Know This Appointments Seems Long,
But Once You Start Getting Into It
To Get Your Wires Changes And Such
Appointments are usually 10-15 Minutes

You're going to do things like biting down into trays (which, believe me, made me nearly throw up), perhaps bite on wax, and get a series of impressions.

they will then make the braces, put them on and you'll be in pain for a week.
but it should run you about a few weeks, possibly a month.

Well, first, it depends on how busy the Orthodontist is, and then it depends on what type of a comprehnsive treatment plan he or she devises in which to fix your dentition. If you need any extractions, he may refer you to either a General dentist or and Oral & Maxillofacial surgeon, then he or she may begin. Depends on how fast you can get in there as well.

Depends on how busy the orthodontist is, but it should be a couple of weeks.
