I have made several slideshows and turned them into DVDS. Please feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.

I have the perfect song:

A Page is Turned by Bebo Norman.
A page is turned by the wind to a boy in curly grin
With a world to conquer at the age of ten
But as history unfolds and the storybook is told
He finds salvation but not at the hands of man

And the God of second chance
Picked him up and He let him dance
Through a world that is not kind
And all this time, preparing him, the one
To hold him up when he comes undone
Beneath the storm, beneath the sun
And now a man, here you stand
Your day has come

A page is turned in this world to reveal a little girl
With a heart that's bigger, as it is unfurled
By the language in her soul, that's teaching her to grow
With a careful cover of love that will not fail

And the God of second chance
Picked her up and He let her dance
Through a world that isn't kind
And all this time, preparing her the one
To hold her up when she comes undone
Beneath the storm, beneath the sun
And grown up tall, here you are
Your day has come

Beneath the air of autumn, she took him by his hand
And warm within the ardor, she took his heart instead
And high upon the mountain, he asked her for her hand
Just for her hand

A page is turned in this life, he's making her his wife
And there is no secret to the source of this much life
When the grace that falls like rain is washing them again
Just a chance to somehow rise above this land

Where the God of second chance
Will pick them up and he'll let them dance
Through a world that is not kind
And all this time, they're sharing with the one
That holds them up when they come undone
Beneath the storm, beneath the sun
And once again, here you stand
And once again, here you stand
Your day has come

Well, I'm glad you're putting a slide-show for your son's wedding. I think that is so nice, but to answer your question, think about a song that is very memorable. A song that maybe you, the parents, and your son use to like when you listened to the car radio, or a song that brings the family together. Either way, my personal favorite is Sweet November Rain from Guns and Roses, which can actually match to the wedding, if you like to, it is your choice. Think about it before you jump to a song, whatever song it is, I know in my heart he'll definitely like the slide-show because it is a signa of your parental accomplishments that got him to where he is today. I bless him a happy life, and I hope my advice works for his beautiful wedding.

There are places I remember, that is the first line, name of song is in my life by the beatles...lyrics would be perfect for slide show and classy...here they are...
There are places I'll remember all my ife,
though some have changed.
Some forever not for better
some have gone and some remain.
All these places have their moments
with lovers and friends I still can recall.
Some are dead and some are living,
in my life I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers
there is no one compares with you.
And these memories lose their meaning
when I think of love as somehing new.
Though I know I'll never lose affection
for people and things that went before
I know I'll often stop and think about them
in my life I love you more...

You clearly love him, it is quite a message to him..it says how much you love him and also gives him permission and a blessing to go on and make his own family and love her...good luck....hope it helps.

The two Christian songs we had in our ceremony were both by Steve Green. "Cherish The Treasure" and "Find Us Faithful." "Find Us Faithful" is an awesome Unity Candle song; Maybe "Cherish The Treasure" for the picture show?

Cherish the Treasure

I cherish the treasure
The treasure of you
Lifelong companion
I give myself to you
God has enabled me
To walk with you faithfully
And cherish the treasure
The treasure of you

As I obey the Spirit's voice
And seek to do His will
I then can see the wisdom of His plan
For as He works His will in me
I then can love you selflessly
And by His grace, can pledge my love
To you

Chorus

This sacred vow I make to you
Does not contain an "if"
Though I'm aware that trials lie ahead
I will love you and pray with you
And through it all, I will stay with you
Our home will be a refuge of
Unconditional love

Chorus

Cherish the treasure
The treasure of you

Find Us Faithful

We're pilgrims on the journey
Of the narrow road
And those who've gone before us line the way
Cheering on the faithful, encouraging the weary
Their lives a stirring testament to God's sustaining grace

Surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses
Let us run the race not only for the prize
But as those who've gone before us
Let us leave to those behind us
The heritage of faithfulness
Passed on through godly lives

Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful
May the fire of our devotion light their way
May the footprints that we leave
Lead them to believe
And the lives we live inspire them to obey
Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful

After all our hopes and dreams have come and gone
And our children sift through all we've left behind
May the clues that they discover
And the memories they uncover
Become the light that leads them
To the road we each must find

Repeat Chorus Twice

Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful
Oh may all who come behind us find us faithful

"From This Moment"- not sure who the artist is but I'm sure it's not hard to find out

"I Hope You Dance"- Lee Ann Womack

You could also look for arrangements of traditional hymns. "O Perfect Love" is very pretty and has very rich, deep words. You can probably find those on the Internet as well if you can't find them in a church hymnal.

Congratulations! God bless the marriage!

Ave Maria - doesn't have to be the classic one, there are other versions.
In a Country Churchyard by Chris de Burgh.
The Wedding Song - an oldie, but beautiful

well without knowing your son or what kinds of pictures are going to be on it i don't really know what to suggest to you, but try to make it personal for him or for him and his bride. use his favorite song or a song that has lyrics that relate to the pictures being shown at that time. my cousin made one for her son when he turned 1 and it has one of his favorite songs and then when pictures of his bath time came up it was playing splish splash i was taking a bath. just have fun with it and i'm sure he'll love it.
