Yeah reefer. The term lid goes way back to the 60's when people either used the finger method of measuring, pot was placed in a sandwich baggie and one finger equaled about a quarter ounce, two fingers half once, four fingers one ounce.
Or the put it in a mayonnaise jar lid and it equaled about a quarter once or dime bag. Back in the day a dime bag cost about $10.00 and gave you about 12 joints.
