its pretty simple, short phrases and dont switch subjects too much. us guys dont really like having long conversations like girls do. we like talking about one thing at a time and always in short conversations...."hey look at that girl, shes hot." , "yeah she looks good.", "wonder if she has a boyfriend?". we dont like to have to speak or listen too much. so if your talking your head off, chances are he only listened like the first 5 minutes. my girl always takes my hand and holds it. she says this make me be more focused on what she is saying and i think it kinda works.

Try turning away when he talks to you., and ask him how it feels not to be listin to?
