Yes, hot water opens up the cuticle up, cold water closes it. the same thing goes for your skin/pores

I rinse with warm water for a minute and then finish with cold water. It seems to make my hair shinier.

no rince with warm to cut the greasiness of it and then rinse with cold when it is out to seal hair shafts and bring out shine~

cold water is easier on the hair. it also closes the pores which helps to keep it cleaner longer

yes because hot water takes out the oils that you just put in, but it doesnt have to be cold, it can be warm just not hot
