This is so annoying. Food that is round keeps rolling off the plate or rolling off my fork as I sit in front of the computer and ends up either in the keyboard or on the floor between my feet. I am so sick and tired of rolling food I could just spit. Food should be made square, or flat, but not round and rolly. Why can't they make roll-proof food?

Do what I do. Get one of those big rubber hammers and just smack the s*** out what ever you're eating. It ain't gonna roll away any more.

What would be the fun of square food, most food , particularly vegetables is whatever shape it was before people found it. Besides your problem is not with your food but with your plate.
A lot of plates today are made almost flat all the way across. That is because the folk who designed them don't have to eat off of them.
If you look around and especially at antique plates you will see that there is an inner plate and an outer rim, with a sharp vertical place between them. That is not an accident but a place the designer planned as a catch to keep the food from wandering off the plate, and something to push your fork against.
If you look you can find such plates and be much happier with your round food.

Maybe you can invent roll-proof food & become rich & famous!! I guess a square pea would seem odd, though. Maybe you need to step away from the computer once in a while?? Maybe the rolly food is telling you something?? I don't know, but good luck!
