I own a Jeep Wrangler and after seeing how decent it looks on off-road vehicles I have wanted to do it. I went to a truck show in Englishtown, PA. There were a bunch of all different kinds of trucks that had it done, it's available as a roll on in a bunch of colors now too. I found one link, though I'm sure there's a bunch more.

At a minimum you should do it to the underside and wheelwells and the rockers. I know a guy that stripped his jeep and sprayed black herculiner all over it inside and out. He wheels heavily with it and 3 years later there's not a spec of rust and the only scratches are from rocks on the underside.

exactly. very rough surface may be tough to bump into. i wonder what the "drag" would be for gas mileage, if it's a concern. probably tear up anything you use to wash it, but, heck, it's a jeep! probably will need to rough up the finish to get it to stick. but hey! it's a jeep!

If you wheel your Jeep, do it. You'll be saving yourself the inevitible "damns" from scratches, dents, etc, obtained while off roading.
