Last night when I was walking home a homeless man ( I think he was homeless) forced himself on me. He only kissed me before someone stepped in and helped me, but now I have been throwing up and have diarreah all day. Can you get anything other than a cold/flu from kissing someone. Who knows what kind of diseases this guy might have...

Somehow I don't believe that story. If it really happened you would not have symptoms that quickly. I think this is a rant disguised as a question.

You story make me want to gag - too bad you didn't have a can of mace with you to spray this freak good.
Take the advice from those above for see a doctor and get a good strong shot of antibiotic pumped into your bumm.
Those homeless folk live on trash, east rotten food, and drink and live in filth. You could have definately gotten Mono from his advance - so go to the EM or see your Doctor Immediately!

Ewww . . . that's disturbing and disgusting all in the same moment. Yes, you can get more than a cold from a kiss . . .especially if he had open sores on his mouth. If this continues you need to go to your local ED and get some lab work done.

It is considered low risk bodily contact, however, some kind of VD or flu or even HIV can be transmitted by saliva. Take care !

That doesn't sound good... I think it would be a good idea to see a doctor pronto about it to get the most efficient and professional speculation. You can't be too safe about something like that.

sickness is very much asociated with nerves. you are prob just freaked out over the incedent it will pass with time. worst case is if he had the flu or something.

But if saliva was swapped, many other possbilities are there... like AIDS or others
