yes
-they are in the human family as close relatives-back probably maybe millions of years ago humans just started developing thumbs to accomidate them in their environment-how do you explain that? if god created us wouldnt he of created us thumbs and all? think about it skippy- in conclusion we evolved from a species of monkeys not necessarily the monkeys in zoos but yes of the ape relation-

We didn't evolve from monkeys.
Monkeys and Humans shared a common ancestor.

Sigh!! Even worse than a creationist who spouts off pseudo-science to support his superstitions is an anti-creationist who spouts off BS and just plain wrong information to support "the theory of evolution". It isn't the theory (the theory is natural selection) and we did not evolve from monkeys! We are primates who evolved from a common ancestor along with the other primates.
You're not doing anyone any favors with this drivel.

A better way of saying it might be that "both humans and monkeys evolved from the same prehistoric mammals."

No, humans did not evolve from monkeys. They share a common point of origin, but at that point their evolutionary paths diverged.

We didn't evolve from Monkeys, they're quite separate.
And we didn't evolve from Apes. We are apes.
Its like saying we evolved from vertibrates. We are apes, mammals, vertibrates, eukaryotes.

Its hard to know what to feel when someone tries to defend something you know is true with an argument so infantile it makes it look like a lie.
Please go read something about evolution.

I agree that evolution is probably the origin of life as we know it, but please, before you start preaching, please make your points a little more clear and understandable so you don't make the rest of us who believe in this sound unintelligent.
