San Diego has many fine Italian Restaurants. I have listed three that are superior to the area.

1. Lorna's Italian Kitchen

2. Cafe Luna

3. Old Venice/My all time favorite Italian Restaurant. Very warm and inviting. The staff are very friendly here. Outstanding Italian Cuisine. The others are just as good but I am a romanticist and love the warm feeling every time I come here.

Little Italy is a great place to start. There is Vincenzo's. The food is FANTASTIC, and the service is wonderful...lots of very cute Italian guys!

Delish - in Old Town and East Lake is excellent. They make their own pasta. I wish they hadn't closed their Poway location!!!

I almost forgot - Nicolosi's (maybe spelled wrong). It's off the 8 , a little east of the Stadium. They have very resonable prices, generous portions and good food. I always see a few cops eating when I'm there, so you know it's good!

Viggilucci's - One is located in Carlsbad North County

I think they have 5-6 different Restaurants. Very good food.

You may want to try Little Italy. I heard there are some great places to eat. Sorry I do not have any names for that area.

I totally agree with Richard. Cafe Luna is kinda had to find, it is in a strip mall on Carmel Mt Rd. Old Venice, great pizza, just like the East Coast and fantastic Veal Picatta. I haven't been to Lorna's for about a year, used to be on Governer Drive but I think they moved to Del Mar. Try anyone of them, you won't be dissapointed.
