I don't know. Schools should let us express our feellings and beliefs, but then again, there's a lot of things the school should start doing..............that's something to ponder on....

Why can't it be BOTH? Evolving over millions of years is the blink of an eye to God. There is no time for "him". The bible is a teaching- parable source. In my opinion, the most Holy and well written over any other Holy book. But, all are still Holy books. Jesus was very real, we have him in historical referances. This is not a fight-this is you and others wasting your time on nitpicking. Schools should teach all angles but spiritual stuff needs to stay coming from your family and church. Whether that is Buddhist or Islam or Christain or even aetheist. If everyone would just concentrate on personal growth (which is what we are here for-right?) then we'd stop pushing each others buttons on picky stuff. Jesus was the greatest spiritual teacher this world has ever seen. He grew so far past us spiritually it is hard to imagine rthat he was not a God's Son or uniquely special. But his whole teachings comprise of telling us all how unique and special and able to do as he did we all are. Maybe that is when we came out of Eden. When we realized our own spiritual prowess- now we need to use and grow it.....

The same way people believe Jesus exists and we dont come from monkeys.

Schools teach it because there is apparently scientific evidence to back that up. It is probably a neutral standpoint made in the educational system in order not to side with any religion which may possible trigger any religion-related conflicts.

Everyone can have their own opinions, we dont neccessarily have to believe everything that is taught in school. People can be wrong too, no matter how smart they are.

It was once believed the sun revolved around the Earth, and the first person to dispute this claim was severely condemned. It was only much later that they knew the actual truth. Maybe in the future they will come to realise their mistake too.

Because of the similarities they see between humans and primates. They fail to see, however, that there are just as many similarities in other ways to other animals, such as rats, that could suggest the very same thing only that we came from them. In fact, their brains are more similar in development to humans than even primates are. They also don't care to use their logic to see that humans and this universe itself are too complex to be a random occurrence. It's like taking a box of computer parts, throwing some molten solder in there, and shaking it around and saying that a complete working computer would form. Sorry, but things that are complex are made by an intelligent being. It is very unlikely that nay of it occurred randomly. And furthermore, if men came from primates, there would still be the human-like primate creatures around. But they aren't, which also gives further evidence to refute the claims of evolutionists.

And while evolution itself isn't about chance, it is about things all occurring on their own without the presence of a higher being, and this is what alot of people fight about. Evolution in the sense that all things adapt and change over time is very real and can be seen in every organism on this earth.

God give us all free will cause if we were made to love Him then it's not love at all..It takes someone hearing the Gospel an average of 7.6 times before he receives it. So either they have not been shown ( ie. Romans road) or have a hardened heart.

creation has not been proven that is why its called faith and my parents made sure that I knew what was what when they taught the monkey thing in school. I did then and students still now have the right to express I was made by God

all animals have so much in common. is a lion NOT related to a house cat? would an osterich have no relation to a canary? why do we all have hearts? blood that runs in the oxygen? livers? bones? so much of our physiognamies are identical. how can we NOT be related? also, humans have related ANCESTORS, we are not direct descendants of monkeys. similarily you have extended family that even shares your last name, but you've never met them. the relationship is too far removed. distant cousins, not ancestors. all your god had to do was create man without the same organs and functions as the "lowly" animals and things wuold be a lot different. why do we even need these physical bodies if we're all "spirits" anyway?

No one claims humans happend by random chance. Natural Selection is the furthest thing from being random. You really need an education. Your question reveals a profound ignorance.

Actually monkeys evolved seperately from apes over (rough estimate, it's been a while since my Primate Evolution and Ecology class in Undergrad) 25 million years ago. Jesus is thought to be a religious leader around two thousand years ago by most scholars, but he sure wasn't an immortal super being son of god.

It has not been proved humans didn't evolve from lesser beings. The only people who don't believe the evidence are thewillfully ignorant like you. And can you tell me what evolution has to do with religion

How tall were people in 1900 on average? How tall are they now?

Get real! Evolution is real-the Book of Genesis was made up by the Jews in Egypt-Ask a RABBI!

Because universities don't pay for some one to find the same things again. So each time they find something they say its the next step or a missing like. This breeds more fools to do the same. The evolutionary myth is kept alive for this perpose alone. "Someones gonna get paid why not me"
