In Shaolin they say that training every day makes a practice into habit. That's part of martial arts, making muscle memory and making every reaction into a habit. So yes, it's good. However, as pointed out by some here already you need to avoid injury. 3 hours a day is more then I'd recommend. But if you are able to keep it up without dehydration or injury then it's fine. Check with your doctor if you have concerns.

They call it Kung Fu for that very reason,
HARD WORK=KUNG FU
You also need to ensure that you have a healthy release for all the Qi biult up in your system, so that it may biuld again and get your body used to the energy flowing through your body. This in turn will help you develop the ablility to be able to direct your Qi at your will.

As long as you don't injure yourself I don't think there's a problem with it. However watch out for overtraining. If I were you I would cycle it, maybe 2-3 weeks of training coupled with 1-2 weeks of rest. Or you could take weekends off. However many people all over the world train everyday and don't suffer from it.

If It is something you enjoy and you do not have any pain during or after you exercise then I don't see anything wrong with it .
I wish I had that much time to devote myself to the martial arts
Have fun

I believe all martial arts training should be done daily.
What you do when you don't have to do it decides who you are when it is too late to do anything about it.
