It could be. Go see a dentist

If the pain is on both sides, it may be related to your wisdom teeth. There may be nothing wrong with them. They might just be breaking through the skin. If it's on one side and on a certain tooth, you need to have your dentist look at it and possibly x-ray it. You may have a cracked tooth, cracked filling or a new area of decay. Either way, if it has happened for longer than 2 weeks, you should definitely see your dentist. Better safe than sorry!

Yea, I have the same thing and I'm in my teens too. My dentist just told me that my wisdom teeth were starting to grow in and he can't really do anything until they have fully developed. Tylenol or advil can subside the pain if they're really giving you a hard time.

Your wisdom teeth only have to be removed if they are "impacted" / growing in sideways, or crowding your other teeth, making them crooked. Now, go see something called a dentist. They might be able to actually help you. I think they have something to do with teeth and gums.

I would go to the dentist. It could be a sign that the tooth is beginning to have problems.

I would get it x-rayed and taken care of it. 17 is not too young to have wisdom teeth come in and lot of times they have problems that need to be looked at.

My guess would be that your wisdom teeth are impacted a quick trip to the dentist and an x-ray can confirm this.

most likely kiddo. they are painful buggers so get it checked out at a dentist.

Good thing about wisdom teeth removal is all the icecream and jelly you can eat afterwards or in my case mashed potato and gravy. Yummo
