Trust me they do. My cat is lost in her own world when she is staring out the window. One day I found her looking at a blank wall and asked the vet if I should be concerned, he said no, she was probably daydreaming about some mouse or bird or something and he was serious.

Yes they do. And I am absolutely positive that I figured out what my cat was thinking about as he stared out the back door, day after day......his escape route. Still haven't found him....

Yha my cats even have dreams and you know they do because when hes sleeping hes like pertendind to run and fight and purrr and hiss its funny to watch them

Nah, they aren't really capable of complex thought like we are. We often personify them as being like us, but they really aren't. They act largely on instinct, we actually think.

i think so, my dog does that and i have seen my parent's dog do the same thing, the vet says it is normal.
