1. God knows the heart.
2. Assuming that they are too young to understand the concepts of sin, salvation, and such, why would God hold them accountable.
3. I agree with this theory of children going to heaven when they die, but it is a theory. Show me in the Bible where it says that though...

Little children don't have 'original sin.' They only thing they inherit from the Fall of Adam and Eve is mortality, or physical death. Jesus' treatment and opinion of little children was that they were already ready to partake in the Kingdom of Heaven, and He told his apostles/disciples not to keep any little children from coming to Him, for of such was the Kingdom of Heaven. The Atonement of Jesus Christ covers little children as it was meant to even from the beginning of the world. Anyone who attempts to negate the Atonement of Jesus Christ and assign guilt and sin where there is none does not have a very developed faith or knowledge of Jesus Christ's sacrifice. Have a happy day.

I believe it is the uniform testimony of Scripture that those who are not capable of making a decision to receive Jesus Christ, and who have died, are now with Christ in heaven, resting in His tender arms, enjoying the sweetness of His love. There are numerous factors supporting this viewpoint.
It is highly revealing that in all the descriptions of Hell in the Bible, we NEVER read of infants or little children there. Only adults capable of making decisions are seen there. Nor do we read of infants and little children standing before the Great White Throne judgement, which is the judgement of the wicked dead and the precursor to the lake of fire (Rev 20:11-15). The complete silence of Scripture regarding the presence of infants in eternal torment militates against their being there.
Jesus and the children. As we examine instances in which Christ encountered children during His earthly ministry, it would seem that children have a special place in His kingdom. Jesus even said, "Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven" (Mat 18:3) He also said, "Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me (verse 5). I don't think there is any way someone could read through Matthew 18 and conclude that it is within the realm of possibility that Jesus could damn such little ones to hell!

We don't know. How -- or even if -- they enter Heaven was not revealed by God. That is why some theologians speculated that they enjoy a state of perfect natural happiness outside of Heaven (Limbo). Jesus said, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God" (John 3:5), but we hope God makes exceptions for little children. The Catholic Church practices infant baptism just in case (among other reasons).

Let God worry about that one. You and I can't do anything about it, except teach them about God. Who are you or I to say where children go when they die? David apparently believed his baby was with God. Paul in Romans 7 refers to "when I didn't know the law there was no sin" - while I'm not too sure what it means, I think it might have some bearing on this question - if it is, in fact, a question.
One thing I know: God is just, and I can trust Him with it.

it is the same reason most churches dont baptize children. because they are not sinning of there own free will. they dont understand the concept. like most churches dont baptize a child tell they are 10 or older. or unless they have been filled with the Holy Ghost. just as well as you can tell a child tomorrow they can see grandma and 10 min later you get in the car they say are we going to see grandma yet. they dont understand fully what it is. yes kids say no to you and on purpose however they dont realize it is sin.

The idea of "original sin", that can be eliminated by catholic baptism, was made up. It's not in the Bible.
Jesus said that everyone must come to Him with the simple faith of a child, or they cannot be saved.
A child, who has never understood selfishness, or evil, has not yet been held accountable for his or her own actions.

There's no such thing as "original sin." Man is born with a sinful nature, but cannot sin until he is old enough to know right from wrong.

because god isn't really a mean being with such strict rules. s/he judges based on morals and charcter. I don't believe you even have to belief in Jesus to get into heaven. and I definatly don't believe if a child dies they don't get into heaven

This whole hell thing is way over rated. I think almost everyone goes to heaven whether they believe or not. These are my thoughts, take them or leave them.
