Something lite. If your not trying to be fancy then you can have a nice sandwich that has turkey, cranberry, it makes a beautiful plate. If it's a fancy kinda first date then Italian is always nice. )No MEXICAN) You'll have gas all night! No Chinese! You'll be hungry again in an hour and look like a pig.

So yeah I say a light dinner and then over to a nice place to grab desert and walk around for a bit. How fun! Got butterflies? I hope you do! '-)

Depends on what type of food you like. Try and stay away from messy food and garlic-y type foods. You dont want to make a mess and have bad breathe on the first date. However, pizza is normally a first date food, unless you go out to fancy resturant. But like I said, it depends on what you like and don't like. I have also stayed with foods that I like. I dont want to eat something new and not like it at all, especially if the guy is buying.

Hmm I think mess free is the best but thats just because I am mostly a klutz. If you think there may be a kiss you might want to avoid garlic. When it comes down to it if you two click it makes no difference where or what you eat just have fun.

Food that is precut in small pieces (like a chicken and pasta dish) so you can eat in in small bites. Chewing in unattactive and impedes the flow of conversation. No smelly foods like onions, garlic or fish either. No salad or other greens that can get caught in your teeth.

chicken or steak. You rarely can get that stuck in your teeth. Pasta's never good cause you get that slurping noise, and twisting on your fork can be tricky, and you know those people that get that sauce stain around their mouth....you dont want that. Nothing really with onions, so most salads are out of the question.

Something not fancy but not too casual because your celebrating you first date but its not that serious. Maybe something like one of the nicer dinners at the foodcourt.
