I found myself in this same situation before, and my friends (the people who know me well, and will be there long after a guy has vanished!) didn't like him. I guess they picked up on the fact that he wasn't "the one" for me. I tried to lie to myself and tell myself they were wrong, but of course, they were right. He broke up with me and now looking back, I realize I will always trust my friends' "gut feelings". I guess their "gut feelings" were also mine too, but I had hidden it. If you seriously, seriously feel that he's the one - then stick it out. Otherwise, if you know in your heart that your friends are right.. you know what to do.. My best wishes to you girlfriend..! Not an easy situation to be in.. kinda like being between a rock and a hard spot!

From my experience friends come and go. If you really like the guy speak up but at the same time get to know the guy.

You should listen to your heart and speak your mind. Just think about it, your life could become miserable if your not with the guy you like based on what your friends think. Besides if your friends are really your friends, then they should care about that fact that you are happy because you like the guy.

Speak your mind. And discuss this with them. Ask them why they don't like him and look at the pros and cons of this subject. Maybe they can help you by looking at a different side of this guy. Also you might be able to get your friends to see the good side of this guy. Good Luck

Don't be a follower. If you like him, then follow your heart. A real friend would back you up no matter what. They seem so shallow. It may be time to change some friends. Best of luck to you.

Well your friends will most often be well intentioned, and they may also have a good reason to not like him, but they just dont want to tell you. Sit them down and get to the root of the problem. If you truly like him, then stick to him no matter what anyone says. but like i said before, there may be something your friends know that you dont.

to some advices, just listen it dont always take it, especially when it's about love. u ask urself, becuz u r the person who is now hanging out with this guy, do u like him is the most important thing. sometimes a blessing relationship lasts even shorter. to u, if u really like this guy, just screw ur friends' words, but not them, becuz basically, they care u andt want u to be happy!!!

Of course you should follow your own mind... unless you and your friends have some unusual agreement to date the same guys.
