I have had a cold for 6 weeks now...and i have to get off the instant decongestant sprays and drops becuase the doctor said that even though they work well, if you use them for more than three days, it gives you a relapse. It's not an infection either...just a cold...HELP! oh. i can't take anything to strong...(i'm 13)

I normally get a sinus infection this time of year, I got this stuff vicks sinex 12hr nasal spray and i swear to you one puff and i felt like i was never sick. Its awesome, its like you put vicks vapor rub up your nose and it feels great. I wouldnt recommend using it right before bed if your sensative- im very sensative and it kept me up for a little longer than i would have liked. I didnt feel weird i was probably just a little nervous- Im like that....For real- try it once you wont need anything else.

Try Actifed. It is a cold/allergy over the counter decongestant. It works great. I have been taking it for years for my allergies and it is the only thing that works for me. Not even over the counter Benedryl works for me. Ask any pharmacist and they will help you find it. Just be aware that you only take 1 (little white pill) and it might make you sleepy.

You should see your doctor though. You might have a sinus infection and need antibiotics to get rid of it. Colds don't usually last that long.

If you have had a cold for 6 weeks then it is probably not a cold. Any cold that lasts longer that 14 days needs to be checked out by the doctor. See your doctor and to find out what is going on.

go to the corner gas station or drugstore and get dristan nasal spray... works like a prayer...works awesome and you'll be able to breath through your nose in minutes and have the best night sleep without feeling all groggy in the morning

Use ZICAM nasal spray. It's over the counter and you can get it at any drug store. This stuff is powerful, but it instantly clears your nasal passages, and gets rid of your cold. Trust me, it works extremely well.
