LEONARD - W 36 (KO's 23) TF 40 - W pct 90% - KO pct 58% - wins over Hagler, Duran{2}, Kalule, Benitez and Hearns - KO'ed by Camacho (Leonard was 41) - #9 ranked fighter
Won 1976 Olympic Gold medal at Lt Welter wt
Retired early because of eye injury
Titles at 147, 154, 160, 168 and 175
He made too many comebacks

TURPIN - W 66 (KO's 45) TF - W pct 88% - KO pct 60% - wins over Robinson, M. Hart and A. Finch - KO'ed by Robinson and 4 other fighters

Turpin was overrated as fighter, he only fought two bouts in America. Leonard is one of 5 or 10 fighters that could move up several weight classes/divisions and win. Considering Turpin was KO'ed by several average/unknown fighters I pick Leonard by a 10 rd KO.

Interesting fight here. Turpin was more of a natural middleweight than Leonard and would win a split decision here.

This would not even be a contest. Sugar Ray Robinson would kill leanard. Robinson is the best of all time. Fought some of the toughest opponents. Had way more fights than leanard. He also didnt fight once or twice a year. He fought every month. Ray robinson by KO, unless leanard ran the whole fight just to finish.
