Just the shape, but linguine is best with some sauces, while spaghetti is best for others. Linguine is often combined with seafood sauces because of the flat shape, which allows the sauce to stay on the noodle more easily.

Linguines are wider than spaghetti and they have a difference in shape too. Linguines are usually flat while spaghetti is round.

Linguine is a flat kind of pasta while spaghetti is a round one. The kind of flour is exactly the same. We generaly use linguine with sea souce or with pesto sauce. We use spaghetti more or less for any kind of souce. Another kind of "long pasta" is bucatini, this is a little bit larger than spaghetti and has a hole in the middle. This kind of pasta is used most of all with meat souce.

Linguine or linguini is a kind of pasta which is a flattened spaghetti originating from the Campania region of Italy. The name means "little tongues" in the Italian language.
The shape of linguini has more surface and therefore is good with thinner sauces, as in Linguini with Clam Sauce. Mmmm....

Linguine tends to be a little flatter, while spaghetti is cylindrical, if you may call it that.

Think they made with diff types of flour or something. They look the same but linguine is paler and tastes more like regular pasta.
