HOPKINS - W 47 (KO's 31) TF 53 - W pct 87% - KO pct 59% - wins over Trinidad, De La Hoya, W. Joppy and Tarver - #50 ranked fighter
Great fighter of today's era - very unorthodox
Titles at 160 and 175
In 2005 voted as #1 ranked pound 4 pound current fighter

Hopkins was never KO'ed. We know that any Lt Hwy Wt (except Moore) that mixed it up with Foster would get KO'ed or jabbed into a unanimous decision loss. Take it either way, a victory for Foster.

I agree with Keith,Toughguy and Smitty. Hopkins is going to be when he retires a top ten of alltime Middleweight but Bob Foster is a top 5 alltme Light heavy if not higher and if they fought it would have to be at Light Heavy as Foster wouldn't get down to Middle or even Super Middle and this would lead Hopkins first stoppage against him with Foster stopping B-hop somewhere in the middle rounds, even with B-hops great defence he would not be able to keep Foster off him like he did Tarver.
From writing this it has also made me realise that it could be suicide for Hopkins to go after that Heavyweight title that he so badly wants, i know the Heavyweight champs are of a pretty poor standard nowadays but how can B-Hop keep these big lumbering giants off him.

Bob Foster is one of the greatest Lgt Heavyweights of all time and had TNT in his fists! He was also an excellent boxer using his reach and jab to set up his power punches. Hopkins was a great middleweight champ but Foster is the bigger man here and he would dictate the pace of this bout. I believe Foster catches Hopkins with a devastating right cross in the 9th round and it ends the night for Hopkins.
