why would you ask a bunch of humans? Heaven or Hell may not be part of the particular animal's belief system. You may first have to ask the animal itself what it believes in and even then you yourself with have to decide if there even is a heaven or hell at all.

I don't think you can assume that what will happen to the animal is what you think with happen, simply because you are not the omnipotent being and you cannot decide either for yourself or for any one else and that includes animals of any sort -- if a puppy goes to heaven or hell, why not a fly or a lizard or a horse or Me??

animals don't have souls and by most teachings don't enter heaven. animals are not like humans and won't be singing holy holy with those who make it. i am not 100% on this but no one here can give you a definitive answer on this question as we all just don't know. someone mentioned ezekiel but that does't mean it is animals here on earth that are present. either way i don't think we will care to much as we will be in a state of grace and the beatific vision.

I believe there is a good possibility animals will go to heaven. Here's what Scripture has to say about animals:

When animals die they cross over to rainbow bridge. It is a special place that has hills and streams and sunshine and plenty of food and soft places to nap. Animals who have died sick or old they are restored to health and youth. Animals wait there until they are reunited with their beloved people and then live on together in the summerlands.

The bible does not address that issue, but for logical reasons, I think they'd go to heaven. No animal has ever disobeyed God (with the exception of the serpent, of course).

The Book of Ezekiel from the 40th chapter on to the end, is all about what you and I will be doing in the eternity. You will notice there are animals present there. Great new, too!!!

I overheard my Priest tell a kid this:

"When you get to heaven ... Ask God for your pet ... Don't be afraid ... God wants you to be happy ... You never know, he may give you your pet --- or he may give you a better pet ... Go on ... Ask God nicely" (1.) --- Another Priest said that "God wants me to be happy, but the status of my dying cat couldn't be determined by him, a mere mortal man" (2.) ...

Overall, I'm optimistic that my dead kitty-cat is in heaven with wings and he fly's around playing a harp by chasing a blue bouncing ball. -Giggle.

It seems that they remain alive as astral bodies upon the earth until they are reincarnated. Some of them may follow their old masters into whatever dimension the master traveled to in the afterlife.

Of course they go to heaven. It wouldn't be heaven without them.
