Because back when christianity was formed, whites were considered superior and the rest were considered minorities. While today this is not the case and all races are equal, the idea of a caucasian Jesus stuck.

because the whole bible thing really happened in the Kansas City area. Of course, it wasn't known as Kansas City then - nope, just as KC. So Jesus was known as JC from KC - makes sense to me.

It depends on where you see the images. In the Western world most images will be Caucasian. Look in African literature-he is black.

i am sure it was only so that people could relate to him ..
i have seen black artists depict him as black etc
i dont read too much into it , because common sense tells me he would be olive skinned

Depends where you are at. In Africa I have seen him as black as the rest. He is also a female when there is a mess of them.
