Well, they started the Eid on Sunday, since the shiite took over, and since the Eid lasts 4 days, that means insha'alla they will open on thursday.

I think its because of Eid...it was on the 31st here. I'm not sure when the banks will re-open but they should probably open this week since the day is past. I think they keep it closed for 3 days...not entirely sure.

well us muslims have just finished celebrating 3 days of Eid festival. erm i think in Iraq it finished two days ago i am not sure why they are still closed! sory
