Prevention is better than cure. It is important to have a healthy lifestyle; otherwise, it will come back later in life to nag you with the following:

> Cholestrol
> Diabeties
> Medical bills
> Emotional distress
> Anxiety to family members

I am not being sarcastic but I am sure that you do know why this important, but in case you really dont let me help.... healthy lifestyle can help to lose/maintain weight and lower cholesterol . In addition to this a healthy lifestyle can help ward off diabetes and high blood pressure which seems to be epdemic . I am sure I can could go on and on but refer
the american heart association for more accurate information.

Because although when you are young it might seem like you're sacrificing too much, when you are old you get all the benefits! And since the average lifespan is increasingly growing, it's an investment on your future, like a retirement fund (but about health and fitness).
