You might be an ectomorph!

I am one... unless I eat *massive* amount of fats or calories, I don't gain weight. The only way I found so far to gain weight is doing weight training AND supplementing it with 80-100 gr proteins a day.

I got my thyroid check too and it's normal. We just happen to dissipate a lot of calories in *heat* and that's why I constantly feel cold.

A friend of mine is another ectomorph and he does the same thing...

Weight training helps a person build muscles and increase body weight. If you are a very active person, you should learn to relax, which will slow down your metabolic rate. Increasing the number of hours you sleep will also help you to gain weight. More information at http://www.toloseweight.org/gainweight.html
