I just want to know. It seems like if a big bang created the organization of the universe, that it should be able to be re-created in the laboratory...why not my house???

If you are in your house when it blows up, then yes, you will have a much bigger house. Its called heaven.

No, for a very long amount of time the universe was uninhabitable after the big bang. So you'll have to wait until someone builds a bigger house there :)

The Big Bang was not really an explosion, that is just a name that stuck. Plus if there is only one tiny atom to explode in the entire universe, and it implodes and reexplodes until the matter condenses and reforms to form the universe, the results would be different than if there were flammable creationists such as yourself.

Big bang theory isn't as simplistic as a big cosmic stick of dynamite. There's no way we could re-create it in the lab.

If you're interested you'll need to educate yourself to a at least a high school level understanding of Big bang theory before you can discuss it intelligently.

If you have good house insurance you will probably build a nicer home --- however, most of your worldly goods (photo's, memories, and personal items) will be lost in the explosion --- but you'll get new furniture. If this bang occured in New Orleans, well the insurance companies are avoiding you major - you'd be lucky to get a trailer.

Religiously, the Bible says that in God's house we cannot imagine the spectacular space that Jesus is pre-paring for us --- but this is acheived through our hope, faith, belief, and we might be able to through in a few good works in hopes for more leverage.

I don't think that's quite how the Big Bang worked. It seems to me that all the matter in the universe was in one place, then exploded, then the organization of the universe began to form over many years' time.

And who is to say that God didn't guide it along?

Yes! It WILL create a nicer and bigger house... IF you have the right insurance ;)

Seriously, you should probably study up on evolution before making an evaluation like this... here's a link for you:

Big Bang is 100% true but your analogy isn't. Note: Big Bang doesn't contradict the existence of God and neither does evolution. Why would you think it does? This is just simple science. If you understood quantum physics, you'd be sh_tting your pants...

Because it was't a bang or indeed any sort of explosion. It was a rapid inflation of space-time (they're very different things), possibly due to (this is just one recent theory I read) one of 4 large spacial dimensions changing into a time dimension (to leave 3 large space and 1 time [and several smaller spacial dimensions if you know any string theory]) due to quantum fluctuations.

No, there have been a number of houses that have blown up in our area over the past couple of years and it just created a hole in the ground. Be sure all of your gas fixtures are in proper working condition; have them check periodically.

No but you can have a person come wave his hand and hope that your house will turn into something bigger and nicer. Same argument, different theories, you decide.
