They also put boxes of cereal back in the cupboard that don't even have a bowl of cereal left in them. Why don't they just eat or drink all of it, or throw the rest away????

I sometimes put things back because I am not sure if they are supposed to be recycled or not. If they are empty I will just leave them out, but some things almost empty I put back. I figure someone else will put them where they need to be.

Isn't that annoying. Nothing like going to grab the milk to pour on your half filed bowl of cereal (because it was put back too with hardly anything in it) to find out there is only enough milk to dribble out.
Some people are just lazy, some do it with out thinking. I always ask my kids why and the response, well there was still some left you always tell us not to waste!!! Or I get the, You always tell us never to finish something off with out checking to see if anyone wants some first.. So they end up throwing my teaching them good manors back into my face :)

The walk to the cupboard or fridge is shorter than the walk to the garbage.

They don't want to waste the remaining cereal, even though there isn't a full bowl left.

because its really funny. i eat all somebodys chips then blow the bag up with air and fold the top over so it looks like theres still chips left. its funny to watch the neighbors slap the dog or yell at the kids for eating all their chips.

People don't want to be blamed for eating or drinking the last of whatever it is. I hate when people do that.

if you didn't buy the stuff, you don't want to be the person to have the last of it. If you leave a bit, then the other person doesn't accuse you of taking all of their wheat thins or whatever. I am not saying its a good methodology, but could be true.

well, maybe they already had a pretty full bowl or cup and couldnt fit that last swallow in it. as for empty, perhaps the garbage was full? or they were lazy? what if they were in a hurry? it depends on the situation to me.

If your talking about guys doing this, thats just the way they are and nobody knows why they are so sloppy. Other people do it because they are lazy.

maybe they are too lazy. I do that sometimes, just because i'm too lazy to put them in the trash can. It sounds crazy but it's true.^^
