People, the Messiah is the anointing, no one man is only anointed. This speaks of the anointing of mind. There is a difference between Christ and Jesus, I mean for crying out loud although the bible is allegorical in the OT there were other people who were Christ but they didn't translate the word into greek or hebrew but they left it the latin anointed. Go search your scriptures and see it. Now imagine if they had used the greek "Christ" instead of anointing in the OT.
Anyways good people the ebonites who were the first followers of Yeshua/Jesus in Jerusalem that actually knew him and came from the essene sects IMO held that Jesus...
"...was justified by fulfilling the Law. He was the Christ of God, since not one of the rest of mankind had observed the Law completely. Had any one else fulfilled the commandments of the Law, he would have been the Christ." Hence "when Ebionites thus fulfill the law, they are able to become Christs, for they assert that our Lord Himself was a man in like sense with all humanity." (Hippolytus, Refut. Omn. Haer. vii. 34).

Jesus might have existed but that doesn't mean he had supernatural powers. He just became some popular cult figure that then took off into full blown celebrityhood.
To the person who said how about 2.1 billion christians. That is called a Fallacy -- Appeal to Authority.
In Germany the majority were perfectly fine with killing Jews.

There are many ancient works that are accepted as factual, even though they are old, and few copies exist.
There are thousands of complete and partial copies of the Bible books, Old and New Testaments, and they are consistent.with each other.
There is no reason to doubt the Bible, except that you don't want to believe what it says. It convicts you.
Why not read it with an OPEN mind - one that can learn.

No contemporary records of Jesus exist beyond the Bible. The History of the Jews by Josephus mentions him, but those parts were forged.

A true Christian doesnt need proof of Jesus we know by faith he is there. You will have your proof when the rapture comes. I hope you change your mind before then. Its gonna be pretty terrible here on earth if you dont

You can not see any proof until you are born again-read John 3. I see proof every day, as do several million other born again Christians.

None, not even the Bible. In fact, the statement may not even make sense. What is the messiah anyway?
