In these times Bedouin Arabs worshipped a series of Gods, one of them being Allah-Talaa the supreme Moon god; whom had three daughter goddesses: Allat, Manat, and Uzza. When Mohammad had little success he adopted the Moon god (Allah) along with other Gods to persuade the Pagan Arabs to join Islam. Slowly, he worked toward his monotheist religion with Allah being the only God. He ordered the idols be destroyed and he kept the names of the other Gods and Goddesses by passing them off as the alternate 99 names of Allah. But can it be denied that these goddesses were once worshipped by Muslims including Muhammad? The Quran says to worship these Gods in Sura 53:19-20. [Have ye seen Lat and 'Uzza, And another, the third (goddess), Manat?]. Sura 37:125 says the Sun Allah (Baal) is the best of creaters instead?
Some muslims say that Muhammad was tricked by satan to include these extra Gods into the Quran but doesnt that contradict the fundatmental belief in Islam that the Quran is perfect?
