Im 25 years old, in my point of view, no guys want to make committments, not just with my own experiences, but with other friends AND people middle aged and older from what i hear. I mean, internet is a huge factor, there is just too much temptation. Plus in this generation, everyone they dated , they remain "friends" with, its like everyone keeps the extra baggage (especially my age range). I mean there are so many times where you date someone and they say "lets just be friends" then the mixed feelings come in if you find somone else and the ex wants to get back with u. Also, it seems that nobody wants to just deal with their situation once they are married, people get divorced for the smallest reasons and use it to find escape asap. It seems this genereation there is no love or respect for one another, which is a real shame, everything is sex not romance. opinions all...

Sweetheart, you are watching the result of so called "sexual" revolution that the feminist wanted so bad. Pumpkin, since a woman earns her own money, why will she be stupid enough to lose her "identity" and marry??? Likewise, why would a man whom can get sex without a serious commitment, and be taken to the cleaners for "falling" in love??? Marriage is not for everyone and should be for people whom are mature and WANT to be there not drafted. Marriage will never go extinct but will be on the endeared list. Do not lose hope sweetheart, there are still some people who want to get married but there are catches. For example, a marriage has better chances of surviving if there is pre-nup agreement. This prevents for someone marrying and then getting a conciliation prize for divorcing. Also, getting married past your prime time will rise your chances of lasting.

If you want committment, you'll have to date an older man or wait for the guys your age to get older, of course that means you'll be older too.

Marriage will not become extinct. I think we are in a slow down but I think it will become as important as breath itself eventually.
