I had a little conversation with a friend about how badly the earth is getting over populated, and we decided that gays might just be natures way of saying "#^%$ too many people!"

After all, if a couple wants children but can't procreate naturally, and instead take in other abandoned children, it could slow the population growth.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Evolution is supposed to make us more fit for our environment by adapting traits we have or adding new ones, but what if we destroy our environment before we adapt? Not all the population would "turn gay" obviously, but if a certain percentage did while heterosexuals continued producing fewer children...

there is study into this theory
that it is a natural process of population control
it seems that those who are homosexual are usually born into larger families with many female members
and i agree with this theory

many animal behavoriists have said that only when there is overpopulation among packs of animals is there a rise of homosexuality.

I think humans might work a little different. but its true that the more people who can't have kids of there own (physical defects, homosexuality) help decrease the population and help kids who need to be adopted

if everyone became gay where would the children come from?

lol people are giving me thumbs down for some reason...i never said anything against gays and wasnt trying to be offensive i thought my question made sense. gays cant reproduce can they? so if gays became the next stage of evolution seriously how would the world repopulate. i guess it could work up to a stage but then it wouldn't work

Well evolution doesn't work in the opposite way. It's called Survival of the Fittest, not Death of the fittest, or whatever.

Nope! News out of Australia!

Treating with Hormones removes "gay tendency" and allows the "blokes" to start looking at "Sheilas" with great interest.

The Gay Federation of Australia/New Zealand are FURIOUS!

This is more proof that mankind is NOT evolving but regressing.
