I can't see how the finite could predict the infinite. Heck, even after God acts we many times fail to realize it was Him.

In a broad sense, we can predict that if we commit certain acts, sooner or later, there will be certain consequences...in the same way, Little Johnny knows that if he continues to misbehave, sooner or later, Mommy is going to "take steps". He might get a spanking, or be sent to his room, or have his bicycle taken away for two weeks...he isn't sure, but Mom is bound to react sooner or later. Conversely, if he does something good...gets A's on his report card, or mows the lawn without being nagged, he knows Mom is gonna be happy, and may very well take him out for ice cream, or buy him a new toy, or let him stay up late..
Little Johnny knows his Mommy loves him.
However, if you are asking just exactly what God is going to do, and when He's going to do it, no, we can't make those sorts of predictions. But we do know that God loves us and will never do anything that is not for our good.
Unlike Johnny's Mom, who is human and sometimes makes mistakes...
God is our Perfect Parent.

EDIT!!
(Of course, there are some rather outstanding exceptions to this general rule....for more information about these, see the Bible...specifically the Prophets, such as Isaiah or Daniel, and don't forget Revelation. It is not outside the realm of possibility that such exceptions may still happen to this very day...however, like the prophets of old, those exceptions would more than likely be ridiculed and even persecuted in our day...at least until their predictions came true...and even then, they could find themselves in a bit of hot water...*pun intended*)

Only Savvy Christians can tell what God will do. The prophesies Stated in the Bible tell us much of what God will do hundredths and even thousands of years before they happen. Remember that during Noah's days God had told Noah to tell his contemporaries about the up coming flood. Only seven people were saved because they trusted in God and were familiar with the scriptures. Today we Christians know that God will bring this wicked system of things to an end because Jesus tells us so in the scriptures. Just like in the days of Noah, people are doing the same thing, mainly, not obeying what the bible teaches and following the ways of the world-which Jesus warned not to do. There will be a destruction much greater than during the flood because of disobedience to God, but true Christians know of this and are fully prepared and anxiously waiting for this to take place, our deliverance There are scores of prophesies in the Bible- about Jesus, destruction of Jerusalem in 70 ce by Rome, the last days, the new paradise here on earth, the abyssing of Satan for 1000 years, and so on,and they are all there in the Bible for us to read about. God wants everyone of us to know what his intentions are, but only a very small amount of people take interest in God's spoken word, and they will be the ones that heed the warnings and will reap the treasures that are there for everyone to find in God's word, the Bible......KECK

Yes, I think some actions can be. but, not with precision as to timing.
We all know that there had to be a nation of Israel because of Daniels prophecy. But for nearly 1900 years there was no Israel. In 1948 Israel popped up on the map out of nowhere. I think we can "know" that something will happen, just not exactly when.

We cant predict God's actions alone, but He can tell us whats going to happen before they do hence the book revelation and the whole old testament prophesying Jesus' coming on earth.
