My goddaughter's brother moved in with his Uncle when he was 10. He's turning 16 this year and is doing better than any of the other kids. My goddaughter is 12 and may be moving in with us, but during the school week only.

In the UK, a person may only live away from home without parental consent when they are 18. They can move out with parental consent at 16.
This is assuming it is a completely free choice - no parental abuse etc.

Are you serious? Children should live woth their parents until they are an adult--18! If it is bad situation, though, and it is not a legal thing, I'd say 16.

Depends on the state. In Missouri you have to be 12+ and the parents have to be ruled unfit in order to remove you from their home.

Whenever you feel like they are ready. Probably a teen ,so they really know and understand their decision. Kids are always first, so listen to them!
