Instead of bringing your MP3 player to school and showing it off, you need to pay attention to what your teacher is teaching. MP3 players are expensive and you don't want to risk losing it or having it stolen in school.

You may want to ask your school authority, teacher, etc. Does it say you can in the school handbook? Depends on the rules of your school, instead of asking on Yahoo! because we don't know what school you are asking about, it is best to ask your school personel.

I personally wouldn't take one because in the area where my school is, it would probably get stolen or taken away.

I'm guessing you were trying to spell school as skool, and people here on this yahoo answer board are giving you so much grief about the mishap the l is next to the k if some haven't noticed. hehehehe..

Don't take it into school. There are far too many thieves around and the school very likely won't pay for a new one if yours is stolen. If you want to show it off, bring your friends round to your own house.

But if you really must take it into school, wear jeans and always keep it in your pocket. Don't take it out and only show kids in the playground so teachers won't confiscate it from you.

Most schools do not allow it in grade school or middle school. Here it would be confiscated and returned to a parent at the end of the day after a chat with the princiapl.

well it depends on what school you go to because some schools accept it but not during a lesson also some do not they do not accept any electronics and some well next time be more specific ok and do it on your own risk and its up to you to choose because you will have to ask the teacher like what are the rules my moto for school when in dought ask the teacher or if you think your self well about don't do it believe it!

Okay, here is what you do. Turn off your mp3 until after school, then wait until teachers are inside and tell your friends to wait and show it to your friends.

We're allowed to have our MP3's and IPod's after school hours and before school hours. If we get caught with them during school they are taken away and our parents have to come and pick them up.

No - School is a place for learning, and if you ever want to be taken seriously, you really need to work on your spelling and grammar. Just because many people choose to be 'lazy' about their Internet syntax, you should realize by these answers that people who want to exchange information outside of school need to be thoughtful of how they express their thoughts.

Oh - I keep any of my student's electronic devices till June. And my kids at home really enjoy the toys I bring home for them to borrow. (just a thought for you...)

it's school.. not skool.
And usually they don't want any electronic device to distract you from your studies....
This includes:
Cell phones
Mp3 players
Lap tops (some permit it)
Video games
Cd players
ETC.....
So I wouldn't take it to school if you don't want it taken up in class and kept locked up and maybe even your parent's called...
You have enough hours in the day at HOME to listen to music.
You are at school to learn.... not listen to your mp3 player or talk on your cell phone......
But whatever........ lol
Do what you want, you're going to anyway......
