My opinion is no. Just by the mere fact that the interpretation of what they were saying/singing would be pure speculation. How can you interpret anything unless you have a "Rosetta stone" for a whale? And if by chance a whale mimics a human gesture, only a dreamer would believe that a whale understands human behavior enough to mimic it and only a dreamer would believe that the whale is communicating in a human manner that the whale is consciously aware of.

Whalesong is repeated and only changes gradually over time. It may be possible to undrstabd what it means but is probably just information about the best places to get fish
