I am 17, and would love to baby sit sometimes. I love kids, and work with them every wensday night. but no one around here goes out and needs a baby sitter. and it should not be limited to girls. guys can wach kids too, and sometimes the kids have more fun with a guy.

are you sure you want a teen to watch your kids.their minds tend to drift away from what they are supposed to be doing.my advise to you is find a responsible person who already has a child that would like to make a little extra money.don't be to trustworthy and make a big mistake.if you want to go out, go out with peace of mind knowing your kids are in good hands.also don't be to desperate, after all your childrens safety is at stake.being desperate is no excuse to just let anyone take care of your kids.you might have to sacrifise your night out till you find the right person.afterall whats more important? your night out or your childrens safety? you shouldn't have to give it a second thought.good luck. pete

We have a bullitin board at our church. A lot of teenaged girls will put their information there. Or have you tried the community center? Our city has babysitting classes, so many teenagers who are intrested will sign up for them, and ask for jobs too. But the best way that I have found is to get recommendations from friends.

As a teen who runs a babysitting business in Miami, I'd suggest asking friends for recommendations. Because a babysitter thrives off of word of mouth, recommendations are key. I actually tell my parents to NOT ask other people if they need my services!
Hope I helped!

why dont u put an ad in somewhere, but of course INTERVIEW the teenager and check them out first before you hire them on, you never know what kind of stranger u are hiring. u could even go to the local high school and ask the teachers if they have any recommendations for teenagers in the school that could babysit for you

In these days and times I would only hire a babysitter if I had a nannycam; or several; in place...

You can ask your neighbor or call the neighborhood church and ask if they can refer you to a teen sitter.
